Civil Emergency Message

Owyhee County has issued a civil emergency. The Bureau of Land Management Owyhee Field Office is issuing a temporary closure of the entire area south of Trout Creek Road and Silver City Road to the East Fork and Main stem of the Owyhee River and from the Oregon border east to Highway 78 and Highway 51 Owyhee County beginning July 28 2026 at 8:00 p.m. and is anticipated to be lifted August 14 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Contact BLM at 2 0 8 3 8 4 3 3 8 8 for additional information.
