A line of severe thunderstorms was located approximately 20 kilometres west of the New Brunswick - Maine border is moving east at 50 km/h.

Hazards: - 90 km/h wind gusts. - Nickel size hail. - Heavy rainfall.

Locations impacted include: Connors, Val Oakes, Pelletiers Mill, Clair, Les Rapides, Caron Brook, Portage-du-Lac, Baker-Brook, Riceville (Madawaska), St. Hilaire, Verret, Saint-François de Madawaska, Lac Baker.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
