Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 7:04 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts and very heavy rain.

This storm is located 10 kilometers north of Rollet and is moving very slowly to the southeast.

Another thunderstorm is located 20 kilometres west of Rouyn-Noranda and is almost stationary.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
