Details

Rain and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon.
What: Total local rainfall amounts of 40 to 60 millimetres.
When: Returning this afternoon and ending this evening.
Additional Information: A moisture laden low pressure system will continue to affect the region this afternoon. Modest amounts of instability are expected to build in this afternoon. This will lead to the risk for potentially severe thunderstorms, as well as heavy rainfall, returning this afternoon. The rain and thunderstorm risk is expected to clear from west to east late this afternoon or early this evening.
Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Don't drive through flooded roadways. Avoid low-lying areas.
For information concerning flooding, please consult your local Conservation Authority or Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources office. Visit https://www.ontario.ca/page/floods for the latest details.
