Squall Watch In Effect

Conditions are favourable for the development of squalls with wind gusts possibly exceeding 35 knots, frequent lightning and poor to very poor visibility in torrential downpours.

Numerous showers and thunderstorms are possible today for the St. Lawrence River as well as eastern Lake Ontario. The threat should diminish later tonight.

Poor to very poor visibility may contribute to voyage delays and make marine navigation hazardous.
