Very heavy rain is expected.

Location: Prince Edward Island.

Total rainfall: 100 to 150 mm.

Time span: now until Monday morning.

Remarks: A developing and slow-moving weather system is expected to bring a period of significant rainfall. Tropical moisture may contribute to sustained, heavy downpours. Rainfall rates of 10 to 20 mm per hour may occur over some locations. Thunderstorms may develop, producing locally heavier rainfall.
