The first heat event of the season begins Tuesday.
What: Maximum temperatures of 29 to 32 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees Celsius. Humidex values of 36 to 41.
When: Tuesday through Friday.
Additional Information: The hottest days are expected to be Tuesday through Thursday, with maximum temperatures possibly reaching 33 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperatures of 18 to 22 degrees Celsius will provide little relief from the heat.
Hot and humid air can also bring deteriorating air quality and can result in the Air Quality Health Index approaching the high-risk category.
