Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 3:42 p.m. ADT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts and heavy rain.

A line of thunderstorms across central Prince county is moving southeast at 50 km/h.

Locations impacted include: Summerside, Kensington, Higgins Wharf Provincial Park, Abrams Village, Richmond, Wellington, Tyne Valley, Green Provincial Park, St. Nicholas, Union Corner Provincial Park, Belmont Provincial Park, Miscouche, Linkletter Provincial Park, Chelton Provincial Park, and Bedeque.

Hazards: - 90 km/h wind gusts. - Dime sized hail. - Torrential rainfall.
