Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 10:15 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing up to quarter size hail and very heavy rain.

One storm is 25 kilometres east of Grande Cache near Highway 734.

Another is 90 kilometers northeast of Grande Cache and 10 kilometres east of Highway 734.

These storms are nearly stationary.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
