Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 6:51 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and very heavy rain.

These thunderstorms are located 50 kilometres northwest of Temiscaming and are heading east at 40 kilometres per hour.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
