Yellow Warning - Rainfall

Heavy rain is expected.

Where: Metro Vancouver - including North Shore and West Vancouver and North Vancouver Howe Sound

When: This morning.

Remarks: Another strong low pressure system continues to move across the South Coast early this morning. The low will produce 50 mm of rainfall before gradually ending during the day as the system moves eastward out of the region.

Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Landslides may occur in vulnerable areas such as steep slopes, deforested areas or recent burn scars.
