Special Weather Statement In Effect

Low pressure system approaching tonight will give heavy showers or thunderstorms.

What: 20 to 40 millimetres of rain

When: Later this evening or overnight hours into Tuesday morning

Discussion: A warm frontal zone with rain or thunderstorms will arrive from Manitoba this evening over Lake of the Woods area and continue moving eastward to northeastward later this evening. Rain may be locally heavy at times with reduced visibility.

Water will possibly pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Rainfall warnings may be required.
