Prolonged, heavy rainfall is expected.

Locations: southern New Brunswick.

Potential rainfall amounts: 50 to 80 mm.

Time span: overnight Saturday night to Monday afternoon

Remarks: A developing weather system is expected to bring a period of prolonged rainfall. Rainfall rates of 15 mm per hour may occur over some locations. Bands of rain are expected to track repeatedly over some areas, leading to higher totals.

Water pooling on roads may make travel more difficult in some areas. Localized flooding may occur in low-lying areas.
