Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 8:42 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

This thunderstorm is 110 kilometres northeast of Grand Cache and 40 kilometres east of Highway 734, and moving west at 15 km/h.

Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
