A significant, long duration snowfall event continues with total snowfall accumulations of 40 to 60 cm expected by Sunday morning.
In addition to the snowfall, strong northerly winds with gusts up to 70 km/h will continue this evening over exposed areas. These winds, combined with falling snow, will result in local blowing snow. Winds will gradually ease tonight.
Snow will taper off in the overnight hours.
