Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 6:55 a.m. EDT, a line of severe thunderstorms is located from Stewart Hall to Orono then to Oshawa Harbour. These severe thunderstorms are moving east at 50 km/h. Strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain are possible.

Locations and nearby areas that could be impacted include: Oshawa, Courtice, Bowmanville, Orono, Port Darlington, Newcastle Village, Bewdley, Cobourg

Heavy rain with low visibilities and giving 30 to 50 millimetres in less than an hour are the main hazards this morning.
