Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 5:20 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

A storm cell is heading towards Sainte-Julienne, Rawdon, Saint-Liguori and is capable of producing wind gusts of close to 100 km/h and causing significant damage.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
