Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.

Hazards: Quarter to golf ball size hail. Torrential downpours. Wind gusts up to 90 km/h.

Timing: Through this morning.

Additional information: Thunderstorms are expected to track southeastward from Lake Huron through this morning. The main hazards are expected to be large hail and heavy rain.

Heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Large hail can cause significant damage and injury.
