The first fall storm of the season is approaching BC's North and Central coasts. Heavy rain is expected on Tuesday between Klemtu and Kitimat, which could lead to sudden rises in stream levels, enhanced potential for landslides, and localized water-pooling or flooding, especially in areas impacted by summer drought.
Exposed coastal regions could also see some strong southerly wind gusts, peaking on Tuesday night and diminishing on Wednesday morning.
