Heavy rain is occurring.

Rainfall totals of 15 mm have been reported in Arviat since Sunday afternoon. A further 10 to 20 mm of rain is expected through the day on Monday.

The rain will taper off Monday evening.

Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant impacts are expected due to rainfall amounts.
