Special Weather Statement In Effect

Locally heavy rainfall will continue this evening into tonight.

Hazard: Total local rainfall amounts near 60 millimetres is possible.

When: Continuing this evening and ending late tonight or early Wednesday morning.

Additional Information: An east to west oriented line of heavy showers and thunderstorms is expected to continue to track over the central areas of the Bruce Peninsula this evening through tonight. This could lead to some locally heavy rainfall amounts near 60 millimetres.

Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Some property damage is possible. Don't drive through flooded roadways. Avoid low-lying areas. Watch for washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
