Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
A frontal system over southern Saskatchewan and western Manitoba is ushering in a moist, unstable airmass. This airmass is favourable for the development of thunderstorms in east central Saskatchewan and western Manitoba this evening. These thunderstorms will have the capability of producing heavy rain, strong winds and large hail. An isolated tornado threat is also possible.
What: Wind gusts up to 100 km/h. Quarter to ping pong ball sized hail. Locally heavy rain.
When: This evening.
