Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 8:19 p.m. MST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts and very heavy rain.

A cluster of severe thunderstorms 60 km northwest of Fort Nelson and crossing highway 77 are moving northwestward at 30 km/h.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
