Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms which may produce tornadoes. Strong winds, large hail and heavy rain are also possible.
Location: Western Manitoba into the Interlake
Timing: Afternoon and evening.
Hazards:
- 6 to 8 cm hail - 50 to 70 mm rainfall, locally. - 100 km/h wind gusts - A few tornadoes.
Remarks: A low pressure system over western North Dakota will trigger isolated to scattered thunderstorms across southwestern Manitoba.
