At 6:35 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.
This severe thunderstorm is located 40 km northwest of Whitecourt, just north of Highway 40 and is moving northeast at 20 km/h.
