Storm surge is expected early this morning at Herschel Island.
The highest water levels are expected to reach 20 to 30 cm above highest astronomical tide at 5AM PDT Wednesday and may cause moderate flooding. These conditions can cause damage to infrastructure near the coast, including boats beached or anchored along the shoreline.
