Yellow Watch - Severe Thunderstorm

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing heavy rain.

Location: along the Burgeo Highway.

Potential rainfall rates: locally 20 to 30 mm per hour or higher in thunderstorms.

Time span: until late this afternoon or evening.

Remarks: An area of thunderstorms has developed west of the Burgeo Highway. These storms are tracking eastward and have the potential to become severe.
