Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 10:45 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

These severe thunderstorms stretch from 20 km northwest of Margaret Lkae to 40 km east of Fort Vermillion to 40 km south of La Crete and are moving east at 55 km/h.

Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
