Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms which may produce tornadoes. Strong winds, large hail and heavy rain are also possible.
Severe thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon ahead of a low pressure system in southern Saskatchewan. They are expected to track northeast throughout the later afternoon and evening. They are expected to weaken and track out of the area later this evening. These severe thunderstorms have the potential to produce tornadoes, in addition to severe hail, wind and rain.
