At 3:03 a.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.
The thunderstorm is 10 km southeast of Fort Saskatchewan and is moving to the east at 20 km/h.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.
Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
