Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 4:28 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

An area of severe thunderstorms north of Narrow Lake is moving northward at a speed of 35 km/h. These thunderstorms will cross Highway 16 near Purden Lake within the next 30 minutes..

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
