Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 7:21 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking an area of severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and very heavy rain.

The severe thunderstorms are located over Heart Lake and are moving to the east at 20 km/h.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
