Orange Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 8:24 p.m. CDT (9:24 p.m. EDT), Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, golf ball to tennis ball size hail and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: Over Albany River Provincial Park

Motion: Moving quickly to the east at 80 km/h

Hazards: Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h) Hail: golf ball to tennis ball size (4.5 to 6.9 cm) Rain: heavy (15 - 50 mm)
