A multi-day heat event continues.
What: Daytime highs of 29 to 31 degrees Celsius. Humidex values of 33 to 38. Nighttime lows of 16 to 20 degrees Celsius, providing little relief from the heat.
When: Continuing into Thursday and possibly Friday.
Additional information: A multi-day heat event is expected to end Thursday evening but may possibly continue into Friday.
Hot and humid air can also bring deteriorating air quality and can result in the Air Quality Health Index approaching the high-risk category.
