Yellow Warning - Rainfall

Heavy rain is occurring.

Rain will continue into Saturday.

Over 35 mm of rain has fallen since Wednesday evening. An additional 10 to 20 mm is expected by Sunday morning resulting in total amounts near 50 mm.

As the ground remains frozen and unable to absorb water effectively, periods of heavier rainfall may result in localized flooding and washouts.

Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas.
