Hazardous winter conditions are expected due to: - Snow - Blowing snow - Wind
A significant, long duration snowfall event is expected to bring total snowfall accumulations of 30 to 50 cm by Sunday morning.
Precipitation will begin as rain late Friday afternoon before transitioning to heavy snow Friday evening. Heavy snow will continue through Friday night and through Saturday before gradually tapering off on Sunday.
In addition to the snowfall, strong northerly winds with gusts up to 70 km/h will develop Friday night and persist through Saturday into Sunday. These winds, combined with falling snow, will result in significantly reduced visibility at times in snow and blowing snow. Winds will gradually ease through the day Sunday.

Travel will likely be hazardous. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near-zero at times. Local utility outages are likely. Property or tree damage is possible.
