Orange Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 10:11 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a cluster of dangerous thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts and golf ball to tennis ball size hail.

Thunderstorm Location: Near and southeast of Lake Nipigon.

Motion: Moving to the southeast at 60 km/h

Hazards: Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h) Hail: golf ball to tennis ball size (4.5 to 6.9 cm) Rain: heavy (15 - 50 mm)

Locations in the Path: Beardmore Macdiarmid Nipigon Red Rock Schreiber

Significant damage to buildings and/or trees is likely. Large hail will likely cause significant damage and injury.
