At 1:01 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.
The severe thunderstorm is located 10 km to the east of Highway 97 near Kersley and is moving to the northeast at 40 km/h.

Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.
Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
