Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 6:42 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

These severe thunderstorms are located from Mazeppa to Blackie to near Cayley and are moving towards the east at 40 km/h.

Storm spotters reported quarter to toonie size hail near Cayley around 6:30 p.m.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
