Orange Warning - Rainfall

Heavy rain this weekend will bring total amounts of 70 to 90 mm.

Widespread rain which crossed the area this morning has pushed off to the northwest. A second push of rain is expected to arrive on Sunday morning. An additional 20 to 40 mm is likely, on top of what fell during Saturday.

Some areas may see more rain continuing into next week, but confidence is low at this time.

With the ground already saturated from the storm this past weekend and rainfall totals for the month of June well above normal, additional rain is likely to cause overland flooding, washouts, and impacts to infrastructure and property.

Localized flooding is likely. Some roads may become impassable.
