Localized heavy rainfall possible today.

What: Localized amounts exceeding 50 mm possible.

When: Ending this evening.

Additional information: Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon resulting in highly variable rainfall amounts. Some areas have already received 50 to 100 mm of rain this morning and may be sensitive to additional amounts.

Water may pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.
