Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 8:26 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

This storm is located 15 kilometres southeast of Cap-Chat and is heading east at 50 kilometres per hour. The areas on the coast will not be affected by this storm.

Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
