Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 11:28 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm are located near Millet and just west of Tofield. Locally heavy rain is possible as the storms move slowly to the east.

Fast-moving and rapidly rising water can sweep vehicles away and damage infrastructure.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
