Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 9:04 p.m. MST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

A cluster of thunderstorms moving northwest at a speed of approximately 40 km/h is crossing Carmacks, and highways 2 and 4.

Driving conditions will likely be difficult. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
