At 9:20 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: 20 km east of Bissett Creek Provincial Park 35 km east of Kiosk Burnt Island Lake

Motion: Moving southeast at 55 km/h

Hazards: Wind: strong (up to 90 km/h) Hail: loonie to ping pong ball size (2.5 to 4.5 cm) Rain: heavy (15 - 50 mm)

Local utility outages are likely. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.
