Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 8:54 a.m. CST, a line of severe thunderstorms is located from about 25 km southwest of Lockwood to 35 km southeast of Govan then to 15 km southeast of Pilot Butte. These severe thunderstorms are moving northeast at 50 km/h. Damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain are possible.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury. Fast-moving and rapidly rising water can sweep vehicles away and damage infrastructure.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.
