Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms which may produce tornadoes. Strong winds, large hail and heavy rain are also possible.
Location: Southeastern Manitoba.
Timing: Late this morning into this afternoon.
Hazards:
- Isolated tornado. - 2.5 to 4 cm hail. - 50 to 100 mm rainfall, locally. - 100 km/h wind gusts.
Remarks: A cold front moving through the province will bring thunderstorms, some of which may be capable of producing a tornado, to portions of southeastern Manitoba late this morning and into the afternoon.
