Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.

What: Damaging wind gusts up to 90 km/h Hail up to toonie size Torrential downpours There is a risk of a tornado this evening

When: Late this afternoon until late this evening.

Discussion: Strong thunderstorms may develop over Minnesota late this afternoon and may move northward to northeastward into the regions into this evening.

Heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.
