Yellow Watch - Severe Thunderstorm

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and large hail.

Potential rainfall rates: locally 50 to 100 mm per hour in thunderstorms.

Potential hail size: as large as 2-3 cm.

Potential wind gusts: near 90 km/h in thunderstorms.

Time span: Friday afternoon until Friday evening.
