At 6:55 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: Thunderstorms approaching from the southwest.

Motion: Moving quickly to the northeast at 70 km/h

Hazards: Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h) Hail: up to quarter size (up to 2.5 cm) Rain: heavy, possibly exceeding 30 mm in an hour

Driving conditions will likely be difficult. Utility outages are likely. Heavy rain will likely cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.
